W Biurze Rzecznika Praw Obywatelskich została zorganizowana 3-dniowa wizyta studyjna Krajowego Mechanizmu Prewencji Albanii. Podczas wizyty wymieniono doświadczenia w zakresie metodologii kontroli prewencyjnych, sporządzania sprawozdań i metod komunikacji. Goście mieli też okazję uczestniczyć w realizowanej przez Biuro RPO wizytacji kontrolnej jednostki penitencjarnej.

Współpraca z biurem ombudsmana Albanii jest częścią działań Grupy Wyszehradzkiej na rzecz Bałkanów Zachodnich w zakresie wzmacniania systemu ochrony praw człowieka. W skład delegacji weszli: Arlind Kruja - ekspert, Sotiraq Nushi - dyrektor KMP, Albert Pilo - ekspert. Wizyta została sfinansowana ze środków TAIEX.
