Protecting children against malnutrition

Children’s malnutrition is one of the most serious social problems. The state’s child nutrition aid, provided since 2014 as a part of a multiannual programme of financial aid for communities, unfortunately does not reach all who need it. Only 13% of pupils from 6 to 18 years old are included in the child nutrition programme. The Commissioner applied to the Minister of Family, Work and Social Policy on the matter of introducing a universal nutrition programme for all children attending schools.
