Ombudsmen Meeting in Vienna

Professor Irena Lipowicz took part in the mid-term meeting of the IOI World Board, which was held in Vienna.
Participants discussed inter alia the principles of membership in the IOI, concerning especially newly created ombudsman offices, funding projects undertaken by members of the Institute and the necessary adaptation of the IOI's organizational structure as the current Secretary General Mr. Peter Kostelka finishes his job as Ombudsman this year.
The IOI World Board consists of representatives from Africa, Australasia&Pacific, Asia, the Caribbean and Latin America, North America and Europe.
