The issue of freedom of torture and other degrading treatment was one of the workshop subjects for Representatives of Ombudsmen of Eastern Partnership Members, entitled: “Observance of human rights and freedoms in the countries included in the Eastern Partnership programme. Analysis of the situation and an attempt to identify the major problems from the perspective of Ombudsman”. The workshops were held in Natolin, as a part of “Eastern Partnership Countries’ Ombudsman Cooperation 2009 – 2013”.
